I don't know how to shade flags orz I fail

The flag that you see is the colonial flag. I wanted to draw the current flag too, but there are too many stars to draw. So I drew the 50 stars in the sky above revolutionary America. ( There are 50 ok. D: Dont try to count them or anything. ) _{EDIT ok somehow I keep counting 48. But that's ok 8D 48 makes more sense, since there were only 48 stars on the flag during WWII}

I colored on the original sketch, so that's why the lines are so sketchy. I couldn't decide between traditional or CG, but I did CG anyway. And then I couldnt decide whether to do flat CG, cell CG, or soft CG. I ended up doing soft CG, so I hop you guys like this version best.
